Trading hotels in the Republic of Ireland. Percentages are a share of the hotels where the fact is stated. Updated 10 October 2026.
About the map
Where does the hotel data come from?
From SSOT’s own register of every trading hotel in the Republic of Ireland, compiled from public sources and checked in batches. Each hotel’s position comes from its Google listing where the two have been matched. The map was last updated on 10 October 2026.
How do I look at one area?
Choose “Explore an area”, click the map to drop a pin, and pick a distance of 5, 10, 25 or 50 km. The map draws the circle and lists every hotel inside it, nearest first, with their ratings, sizes and facilities. Opening a hotel shows the hotels around it in the same way.
Can I see the hotels side by side?
Yes. Any set of hotels (an area, a hotel’s neighbours, or whatever the filters leave) opens as a table with the hotels as rows and the facilities as columns. Click a heading to sort by it.
What does “not stated” mean?
Where the register doesn’t yet record a fact about a hotel, the map leaves it out. It is never shown or counted as “No”, so a percentage is always a share of the hotels where the answer is known.
A detail about my hotel is wrong. How do I correct it?
Tell us through the contact page and we’ll check it and update the register.
Does the map show prices or financial results?
No. The map shows public facts: where a hotel is, its size, its rating and its facilities. A hotel’s financial results stay inside SSOT, visible only to that hotel’s own team.
The map shows what hotels offer. SSOT shows what yours earns.
